Billing Specialist
REGISTERED NURSE LACTATION CONSULTANT
Part Time to Full Time: 16 to 34 hours weekly.
Compensation: DOE $45.00/Hr to $55.00/Hr

Schedule:
In Office Only: Minimum two days weekly, up to four days weekly. Average in clinic days are 8.5 hours. No weekends or holidays.

Description:
Pacific Wellness is looking for a Registered Nurse to support perinatal families in a clinic setting. This role includes hands on support for families experiencing complex infant feeding and lactation challenges and provides evaluation and counseling related to breastfeeding, lactation, perinatal care and more. Additionally this role supports the Family Nurse Practitioner in patient/client care and includes assistance in clinic procedures including but not limited to venipuncture, infant frenectomy, therapeutic ultrasound, culture retrieval and more.
Required Qualifications:

WA Registered Nurse license, unrestricted
-
1+ year experience working in perinatal care
-
45+ hours continuing education in lactation and/or perinatal care
-
Excellent customer service, organization, multitasking and prioritization skills.
-
Clear communication skills verbally and written.
-
CPR certification

Desired Qualifications:
-
Bachelors in Nursing (BSN)
-
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
-
2+ years experience in postpartum and lactation care in patient and outpatient
-
Language Proficiency in Spanish
This position includes and is not limited to:
-
Delivering hands on and virtual patient/client care within the scope of Registered Nurse in Washington State
-
Using professional Collaboration and Communication with members of the care team
-
Documenting all patient and client care activities using the secure HIPAA compliant EHR
-
Maintaining an updated professional license and updated appropriate professional certificates
-
Other duties within professional scope and as agreed upon by all parties

BILLING SPECIALIST
Full Time: 24 to 38 hours weekly.
Compensation: DOE $23.00/Hr to $26.00/Hr Monthly incentives/bonus available

Schedule: After completion of training: 100% remote 24 to 38 hours weekly Tuesday-Friday between normal business hours.
*TWO WEEK IN PERSON TRAINING REQUIRED

Description:
Pacific Wellness is looking for a Billing Specialist to complete timely and accurate billing for our patients and clients. After the initial IN PERSON 2 week training this position is 100% remote and includes working with the electronic billing software, entering patient payments and troubleshooting medical claims. Our team is warm, collaborative and passionate about delivering quality and timely care.
This position includes and is not limited to:

General medical billing
-
Enter in accurate insurance information into the billing software and electronic health record

Review, submit and process claims
-
Troubleshoot claim denials/ problem claims
-
Insurance verification
-
Review, enter and submit insurance remittances
-
Collect and process patient payments

Required Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Experience in claim processing required
-
Ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
-
Residence in WA State and ability to complete in person training
-
Unrestricted ability to work in WA State​
​
Desired Qualifications:
-
1+ year experience in medical billing.
-
Full-cycle billing experience is highly preferred;
-
Successful completion of an accredited medical billing/coding program
-
National Certification in Medical Billing and/or Coding
-
Experience with Kareo/Tebra EHR and Billing software
​
