Craniosacral Therapy

& Somatic Processing

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach to healing that focuses on the craniosacral system and the connective tissue in the body. During a craniosacral therapy session, a trained practitioner uses light touch to release tension and improve the function in the body. This can be especially helpful for infants and young children. It has been shown to be helpful for both adults and infants for problems including torticollis, tongue tie, TMJ, pelvic pain and more.

Somatic Processing

Craniosacral therapy can also be used for somatic processing by helping to release emotional and physical tension that may be stored in the body. By gently manipulating the craniosacral system, the practitioner can help the individual regulate the nervous system, promote relaxation, and facilitate the release of stored trauma and emotions in adults.

Somatic processing often involves a range of techniques, including body awareness, movement, breathwork, touch, and visualization. Craniosacral therapy can be used in combination with these techniques to enhance their effectiveness and help you access deeper levels of healing.

If you're struggling with anxiety, depression, chronic pain, or other mental or physical health issues, craniosacral therapy can be a powerful tool for your healing journey. It's a safe and non-invasive therapy that can be used alone or in combination with other somatic therapies to help you release stored trauma and emotions, and live a more fulfilling and joyful life.
